As it gets later and later in the year I keep thinking that each run on dirt will be my last-which in western Wyoming in late November very well could be right. As Eric pointed out-"Winter here isn't so bad-it's just the fact that spring never seems to come." Yes, this may be the last run on dirt this year. Eric invited me down on a loop in Snake River Canyon that offered views of the Salt River, Snake River, and Teton Ranges. The singletrack was spectacular,the climbs big, and the views even better, despite the impending storm. The highlight of the run was at the top of the saddle at the turn around where the trees looked like they had been sprayed with that canned snow spray. (1.5 hours with 2200 Ft. climb and descent.)
