The locals say if you don't like the weather in Wyoming, just wait five minutes and it will change. Last week was no exception. On Monday morning's run it was -19. The same time on Thursday morning it was 40 and I ran in a light-weight wool top and shorts-which I must admit was much nicer-even though I finished sans beard-cicles. The R1-hoodie/beard combo worked great. Noah tells me he wants to get bigger so he can have a ninja jacket too. For some great cold-weather running tips check out www.runjunkie.blogspot.com.

There's nothing like having your eyelashes freeze together. Cold is bearable, I hate wind. I give myself permission to slack if it's steady >30 mph. Someone should correlate headwind speed to %grade.
