I THOUGHT I wanted to try a winter ultra, besides, I live in the perfect training grounds right? After reading Joe Grant's account from the 2012 Susitna 100 I'm not so sure.

Nice work Joe...on one hand I find it totally inspiring, on the other it makes me want to curl up in the fetal position in front of the fire and take a nap while sucking my thumb. Studly indeed!
