To guarantee your hoodie...enter by 7/21

Now's the crazy time of year when race directing gets serious. The Vaquero races are half-full so there is still time for you to enter if you haven't already. However, due to printing/shipping restraints you will need to enter by 7/21 to guarantee receiving a hoodie.

On a more positive and exciting note I ran the course last week with the Ricks' and there is still a ton of snow. The corral creek lakes were even still completely frozen over. Should be perfect for wildflowers next month. So get your entry completed online and get your climb on...Vaquero (tomo seis) is fast approaching!

Ty- what is the best way to get to the start/finish if I'm doing the 50k and my wife is doing the 25k? Do I need to drop her off way early and drive to my start? Or can she get a ride with someone from the 50k start to the 25k start?

Jon,

I'm sure there are others in the same boat and she can find someone to carpool with. Glad to have you come up finally.

I'm glad I can come see this gorgeous course I've heard so much about. I'm moving to South Carolina one week after the race, so this will be a nice Goodbye to the Rockies.

What are the chances of there being a large hoodie if I register right away? My wife gave me the green light on the race, and I would certainly like a famous Vaquero Loco hoodie to show for the torture.

Jon. I am doing the 25K and will be going up by myself. So I can give a lift to the start if I can get a lift from the finish to the start when we are done, or vice a versa

My friend and I are also looking for a carpool option for the 25k.

Ty, Jennie and I are also looking at carpooling options. I don't think you need to be the organizer, but maybe you could announce if people want to carpool for the 25K to gather at a specific time at the park on Friday night. We should be able to take it from there.

How about we meet at the start of the 50K to organize for carpooling for those who don't come up until Sat morning? thoughts?

I guess we're actually hoping to just catch a ride back to the 25k start after the run, where we plan to camp the night before the race, if there's anyone going that way. We'd rather not have to drive down to the 50k if we don't have to--we're coming from Swan Valley, Idaho. Suggestions, anyone?
