I am going to miss my favortie race this year. Aug. 16th is when Kim will be running leadville 100; which of course I will be pacing her in the last fifty miles. Guess I will have to run it with you Ty as a training run instead.
Hey, what's this I hear from Hart about you going up to Seattle Feb. 7-10? Are you too chicken to make a trip to the NW a couple weeks later because you're afraid of what I might do to you at a Hagg rematch?
Been there...done that. I have to squeeze in a trip between track meets/work, etc.,to get in some dirt before Syllamo. It has been years but....who won last time we raced at Hagg? In reality I can't stand to lose again to a runner in a skirt (i.e. Chuckanut) Take care bro!

Eric passed along your blog to me today, picture is awesome. I will also be running Leadville so will sadly miss El Vacquero this year. I have put the word out about what a great race it is so you should have some Jackson runners down there. I'm in on a training run pre-race but not with you and Eric - you two will dust me and I will get lost again ! Maybe I can show you the 60k option.

Yeah, I remember you kicked my butt, and everyone else's, since you were the champ that year. That's exactly why I want the rematch. If I would have won, I wouldn't want the rematch. And as you know, I have my secret weapon now, although I guess it's not so secret anymore.
You have that right.......if I would man up...maybe I'll grow a pair or we'll have a rematch somewhere else?

Just stumbled upon your blog today. I've been telling my running buddies about how awesome the El Vaquero Loco course is. Looking forward to a sub 7 hour run this year.

Just found the blog, cool stuff. I was wondering when the date for vaquero loco would be this year, I'm putting it on the calendar. Hope to see you then, and maybe bring over a couple new victims.
